Hey there!

I’m Amal Aboukhalil, a Lebanese immigrant who’s been soaking up the Bay Area vibes for over 28 years now. Mom to four awesome kiddos who light up my world.

Back in 2018, I kinda stumbled into owning The Gifted Basket from a buddy. At first, I was like, "Whoa, can I even do this?" I mean, never ran a business before, and college? Well, let’s just say life happened before I could finish.

But you know what? I’ve always been into creative stuff, so I thought, "Why not give it a shot?" And here we are, six years later, rocking it out and loving every minute of it!

Growing up in Lebanon, community meant everything to me. So, I’ve made it my mission to pack our baskets with the best of San Francisco, while also showing some love to our local businesses and vendors. It’s like bringing a piece of our awesome city right to your doorstep.
